This ATV quad 2Hour+/- tour takes you in a small group to see the Northern Lights by the beautiful Hafravatn lake and Mount Hafrafell if the conditions are good. There you will also have a great view over Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and other towns close by. We will enjoy to look at the stars also, try to see some Shooting Stars to make a wish for perhaps endless whishes if we have to wait for the Northern Lights to show up like you are world away but still so close. Join this tour for a unique experience of driving an ATV at night to hunt for the Northern Lights. Maximum online bookable for 8 people.
It is good to Book at one of the first days you are here in Iceland so you have the flexibility to go on a day with the best wheather and activity condictions.
If the weather is not good, we cancel the tour and allow rescheduling or refund, if the you can not reschedule for another day.
If the weather is good but conditions are not good for the Northern Lights, we do the trip but contact people and ask them if they want to go, if they like to reschedule or have a full refund.
If customer decides to go on the tour then he can NOT go again no matter if he sees the lights or not. Even if the Northern Light's are not be seen, it is fun to go on the ATV's into the night to hunt for the lights.
We pick-up from all hotels in the Reykjavik area if it is possible. But note that the Reykjavik city has made a non-pickup zones for tourist in the downtown so we pick up from special tourists bus stops over there. The nearest Tourists Bus stop is usually not far away.
You can see on www.busstop.is the bus stop that is closest to where you are staying.
If you decide to meet us at the meeting point our basecamp is only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.
Riding time can be flexible during weather and the activity of the Northern Lights
Two can ride on each quad and prices are per person. You must book solo ride for single riders and to book the shared ride you must be two participants.
So if there is a odd number in the group you must book at least one solo ride in the tour.
You pay as a child up to 17 ýears old and you need a driving licence to drive.
All you need is a drivers license warm and good socks and shoes and warm clothes, we provide riding gear, helmets and gloves.
Double Ride is the standard rate in this tour and that means two people on each quad if you do not select "Single Ride" in the booking progress for little extra.
