Golden circle and Buggy - super jeep tour

The Golden circle is one of the most popular sights in Iceland and well worth visiting. The sights on this tour are Þingvellir national park where the foundation of the Icelandic parliament began in 847 AD. It is as well a site of geological wonders. It lies in a rift valley that mark the crest of the Mid-Atlantic ridge. The rift is clearly visible and the movement of the tectonic plates pulls the island about 2,5cm every year. Þingvellir is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mighty Geysir is a dormant hot spring but Strokkur erupts about every 4-8 minutes sprouting the hot water 15 to 20 meters high and sometime up to 40 meters. Gullfoss or the “Golden falls” comes from the glacier river Hvítá. As one first approaches the falls, the crevice is obscured from view, so that it appears that a mighty river simply vanishes into the earth. While we go the Golden Circle we will stop for the action part of the day. 2 hrs. Buggy ride where you have the opportunity to get the rally feeling and the adrenalin pumping. Sitting side by side with your buddy we will drive dirt roads and tracks you can’t get by regular cars an action not to be missed. The Super Jeep part of the tour will take you in the direction of Langjökull glacier area the second largest glacier in Iceland you might need to hold on cause it might get bumpy
